I spent one year working on WAVEN game as Senior Concept Artist, mainly for background design. I produced a lot of background and game assets concept arts under the great Arnaud Dewaele Art Direction. Waven backgrounds are in the Ankama DNA: isometric and colorful. The main particularities of the project is that it’s the first time backgrounds are 3D-made, in a purer and mobile-friendly style.
A decade ago, I used to use Adobe Flash to create all isometric assets. Nowadays, my predilection tool is now Adobe Photoshop for more efficiency.
